Sophy's Role
As part of the Marketing team, Sophy is responsible for the TEDxWarrington website and all the integrated sites covering speaker applications, sponsorship and ticketing. Her work is ongoing as the event information is updated, and new features are added weekly.
Work
Sophy is Development Manager at Beech and thoroughly enjoys her job. She started with Beech in 2015 and has achieved multiple qualifications and continues to develop her knowledge through courses in sustainability and team leading. She manages a team that delivers projects at great speed, in a calm manner, and no matter how big or small, she reviews each one with a keen eye for detail. She is responsible for integrating sustainable best practices through their development process. Sophy’s strengths are in creating and maintaining modern, responsive WordPress websites, diagnosing and solving technical issues on a variety of page builders, plugins and hosting setups.
Play
Sophy loves cars (especially if she’s driving) and attends plenty of car events throughout the year. An avid cat lover, she also runs her own cat sitting business.
Lesser Known Fact
Sophy is currently learning Hungarian to linguistically connect with her partners family.
