Kirsty's Role

Bringing TEDx to her home town had always been a long-term dream for Kirsty. She realised this goal in 2022 with the delivery of the inaugural TEDxWarrington. Kirsty is the licensee and curator of TEDxWarrington and leads the 30-strong organising team on event planning, organisation and delivery. She views TEDxWarrington as an incredible opportunity to profile amazing talent and ideas in the region. Asked why she would offer so many hours on a voluntary project, the answer is simple. It’s all about learning, growth and the potential for change. She loves the learning and development content, the stretch of managing a large production team of volunteers, and ultimately the privilege of contributing to legacy-building.

Work

Kirsty is a Networking speaker, trainer and event host specialising in connection, relationship-marketing, personal branding, and community-building. Outside of her family, her proudest achievements include her TEDx talk ‘Building a Legacy: The Power of Collective Achievement’, curating TEDxWarrington, and obtaining a Prime Minister’s award for her community work. Wife and mum of three, Kirsty lives in Lymm, Cheshire and has a strong sense of social responsibility. Her commitment to connecting with purpose and humanity is integral to how she leads her business and life. Kirsty is generous with her time and her ventures embody her three core values of connection, collaboration and community.

Play

Kirsty is a travel junkie so any extended free time is spent exploring cultures near and far. Back home, when she’s not juggling her three kids’ social lives, she enjoys boxing and weights, good food and drink with friends and family, writing, and supporting community and fundraising events.
