About the talk

Jonathan shares his journey from leaving school with no qualifications to becoming a midwife, husband, and father. He highlights persistent gender ceilings across various professions and stresses the role of language in shaping opportunity and redefining identities. To break barriers, he advocates visible role models, safe spaces, and myth-busting facts. By challenging stereotypes, celebrating small wins and unlocking potential, we can inspire others to dream, believe, and become.
