AND Digital is on its way to Warrington.
And we don’t mean just to attend TEDxWarrington in our official capacity as a proud sponsor! We’re excited to be opening our first AND Digital office in the town in August and we’re on a mission to get to know the local tech scene. TEDxWarrington is the perfect event for us to learn about the town and its communities as we set about building our newest team in the North West, bringing over 100 jobs to the region.
AND Digital is on a mission to close the world’s digital skills gap.
We’re a growing professional software services company working with ambitious organisations to build digital products and services while supporting them on their digital capabilities. We blend tech craft skills and product expertise with an award-winning approach to talent development.
This means our clients can launch digital products and build high performing digital teams faster today, whilst developing the critical capabilities they need to build for the future. Education, coaching and development is key to help improve the way they deliver digital services. We work with large clients like British Airways, Lloyds Bank, Gousto and Sky alongside innovative start up companies and the public sector. We are the northern digital partner for the Department of Education.
Our AND Digital values are Wonder, Share and Delight. The TEDx ethos of sharing new ideas and encouraging conversations aligns with these. Through Wonder we innovate and learn from our communities, by Sharing we reflect, grow and strengthen our capabilities, and Delight is the moment when this all comes together through delivering exceptional service for our clients.
We love TEDx and use one of the talks in our ANDis employee onboarding experience. The Joy of Getting Feedback by Joe Hirsch is about how receiving feedback can be a positive experience rather than one that should be feared. We call the session ‘Fearless Feedback’ and use the talk to emphasise the importance of both the ‘giver’ in providing suggestions for future improvement, and the ‘receiver’ being open to hearing it, for their own personal growth.
Giving and receiving feedback is a really important part of AND and it helps us develop and grow ourselves, as well as those around us. In order to do this effectively, you need a good culture which is something we pride ourselves on as an organisation.
When we saw TEDxWarrington’s theme of ‘Build Connection, Strengthen Communities’ we felt an instant connection.
Our operating model across the UK and Europe is built on the strength of the communities, or Clubs, we create. Each Club is an independent business unit operating in a local community. The Club’s role is to connect clients with local digital talent and services and help them deliver digital products. It’s an operating model that’s flexible and responsive – and it clearly works as the rapid expansion of AND Digital demonstrates at now 1,600 people across the UK and Europe!
We believe closing the skills gap is key to how we build and strengthen communities. Giving back is an important part of this work. That’s the reason the TEDxWarrington event theme really resonated with us and why we are so excited to be a part of the event.

In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TED has created a program called TEDx. TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. Our event is called TEDxWarrington, where x = independently organized TED event. At our TEDxWarrington event, TED Talks video and live speakers will combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events, including ours, are self-organized.
