Frequently Asked Questions

A TEDx event is a local gathering where live TED-like talks and performances are shared with the community. The event is fully planned and coordinated by an independent team of volunteers.

Our organiser, Kirsty James, is a local businesswoman and entrepreneur who has brought together a great team of Warrington business owners to support her.

Absolutely! Warrington and Northwest businesses can support us this year by volunteering time and partnering or sponsoring part of the event. Email our organising team to find out more: organisingteam@tedxwarrington.co.uk.

There are four ways to get involved in TEDxWarrington: as a speaker, volunteer, sponsor or audience member.

The best way to keep informed is by following our Facebook, Instagram and signup to our Newsletter.

Speaker applications will open later in the year, and announcements will be made first via our newsletter, then the following announcements will be shared on social media. We can’t share any more details about the speakers before this.

Tickets will be sold via the website on the day of their release. To find out more about ticket updates and sales, follow us on socials or subscribe to the newsletter.

Speakers will be announced closer to the date of the event, and will be shared with the public via our newsletter, on social media and here on our official website.
